Atomic Heart Performance Issues on High Settings
PCMasterRace
Dec 12, 2025Running Atomic Heart on Ultra settings with RTX 4080 and getting stutters. I'm getting around 60-80 fps but there's constant frame pacing issues that make it feel choppy. DLSS 3 enabled. Other games run perfectly fine at these settings. Has anyone found a solution? Thinking about rolling back drivers or disabling certain graphics features. What's your experience with optimization?

YesterdayGreat question! I had the same issue when I started. The key is to focus on proportions first. Try using the "rule of thirds" - divide your build area into thirds and place key features at the intersections. Block palettes are just as important; mixing textures really helps!

YesterdayThanks for sharing your experience! This is exactly what I needed. I've been trying to figure this out for weeks and your explanation makes so much sense now.

2 days agoI completely agree with this approach. Additionally, studying real-world architecture helped me a lot. Looking at how actual buildings are proportioned gave me better intuition for Minecraft builds.

3 days agoHas anyone tried using WorldEdit for learning? I found that experimenting with copy-paste and test builds really accelerated my learning curve. Highly recommend!

3 days agoPro tip: Use complementary materials. If you're building with oak, throw in some dark oak, spruce, or stone to add depth. Single-material builds tend to look flat.
