I'm currently on my second playthrough of BG3 and I've encountered a game-breaking bug in Astarion's companion quest. After completing 'The Pale Elf' quest, the subsequent dialogue options no longer appear. I've tried reloading saves and even restarting the game, but nothing seems to fix it. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Should I contact Larian support?

Great question! I had the same issue when I started. The key is to focus on proportions first. Try using the "rule of thirds" - divide your build area into thirds and place key features at the intersections. Block palettes are just as important; mixing textures really helps!

Thanks for sharing your experience! This is exactly what I needed. I've been trying to figure this out for weeks and your explanation makes so much sense now.

I completely agree with this approach. Additionally, studying real-world architecture helped me a lot. Looking at how actual buildings are proportioned gave me better intuition for Minecraft builds.

Has anyone tried using WorldEdit for learning? I found that experimenting with copy-paste and test builds really accelerated my learning curve. Highly recommend!

@GamingGuru That's a really solid tip about the rule of thirds. Do you have any specific resource recommendations for learning block combinations?

This community is so helpful! I've learned more here in a few days than watching tutorial videos for hours. Keep up the great discussions everyone!

Pro tip: Use complementary materials. If you're building with oak, throw in some dark oak, spruce, or stone to add depth. Single-material builds tend to look flat.
